Our bed is constructed using durable industrial-grade laminated MDF and particleboard, ensuring its longevity. Safety is a priority, so it is recommended that the wall bed be attached to at least 3 wall studs. However, attaching it to 4 wall studs is recommended for optimal stability. The wood slats throughout the frame keep the mattress fresh and eliminate the need for a box spring.

The smooth and seamless transition from cabinet to bed requires two people for opening and closing, and professional installation is recommended for proper function. The Wall Bed is designed to remain uniformly flush against the wall, clearing baseboards up to 1" thick and up to 5.9" tall. Once assembled and opened to the sleeping position, the wall bed can hold up to 600 lb. in addition to the weight of the mattress.

Please note that professional assembly and installation are required for this product. It is crucial to attach the wall bed to at least 3 wall studs for safety and stability, with 4 wall studs being recommended. The folded dimensions of the Murphy Daybed are 81.3" W x 16.49" D x 61.73" H, while the unfolded dimensions are 81.3" W x 59.3" D x 61.73" H. The under bed clearance measures 10.66" H x 76.5" W. The product will be shipped in 3 boxes for ease of delivery.
